What is the Water Valley Education Development Fund?
The Water Valley Education Development Fund (WVEDF) was founded by a group of interested citizens to spark a community-supported effort to strengthen our schools. Â WVEDF is affiliated with the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi. This fund helps provide additional resources beyond what traditional funding allows.

Investing in Our Future
We are dedicated to the long-term prosperity of Water Valley by strategically supporting our educational infrastructure. Our fund provides critical capital for school modernization and teacher development, ensuring that every resident has access to a high-quality, future-ready education system. The fund services all educational spaces in Water Valley. Â This includes Davidson Elementary School, Water Valley High School, Base Camp Coding Academy, and the Water Valley Headstart Program.

Implementing Our Vision
The purpose of the WVEDF is not simply to raise money. Â The larger purpose is to create a long-term, sustainable structure that connects graduates, teachers, students, families, and future generations of Water Valley. Â This fund affects all residents in the school district as the money will be used to improve the overall economy.

Imagine The Possibilites
If the 59 members of the Class of 1964 had each donated $1 a month since graduation and those funds had been invested with a 7% annual return, their contributions would be worth more than $750,000. Â Imagine the positive impact that can be achieved through your donation.Â
